The graphic user interface of this system utility consists of several intuitive buttons which allow you to change the operating behavior of i-Cool. Furthermore, the main window of the application integrates a series of indicators, which permanently notify you about the CPU usage and fan noise level.
One of the most important advantages of i-Cool is that it can adjust the CPU performance in 2 modes: manual and automatic. The manual mode enables you to choose between 5 different levels of CPU power usage: Silent, Low, Medium, High and Full Load. Each of these levels can be enabled by yourself according to your current PC activities. For example, the silent level is adequate in those situations when you perform PC activities, such as: e-mail reading, Internet browsing, instant messaging, etc. These PC activities require a low CPU performance, therefore the CPU power consumption and CPU fan noise will be maintained at minimal values. more
