i-Cool adjusts and monitors your CPU usage, fan noise and CPU performance level. It enables PC users to easily reduce the heat generated by CPU. i-Cool is compatible only with GIGABYTE Intel 945 chipset series motherboards.
The installation process of i-Cool is simple therefore it can be installed even by beginners. The graphic user interface of this system utility consists of several intuitive buttons which allow you to change the operating behavior of i-Cool. Furthermore, the main window of the application integrates a series of indicators, which permanently notify you about the CPU usage and fan noise level.
One of the most important advantages of i-Cool is that it can adjust the CPU performance in 2 modes: manual and automatic. The manual mode enables you to choose between 5 different levels of CPU power usage: Silent, Low, Medium, High and Full Load. Each of these levels can be enabled by yourself according to your current PC activities. For example, the silent level is adequate in those situations when you perform PC activities, such as: e-mail reading, Internet browsing, instant messaging, etc. These PC activities require a low CPU performance, therefore the CPU power consumption and CPU fan noise will be maintained at minimal values.
Another level provided by i-Cool is Medium. It is recommended to choose this operating level when you are running for example a scanning or a defragmentation process. Such operations require a medium level of CPU performance, therefore i-Cool will set up appropriate values for CPU power consumption and CPU fan noise.
Besides these 5 different levels of CPU power usage, which can be used in manual mode, i-Cool can automatically adjust the CPU power usage and fan noise without the need of any user intervention. In the automatic mode, i-Cool continuously monitors the CPU loading and accordingly adjusts the CPU power usage and CPU fan noise.
i-Cool is a reliable system utility because it lets you significantly reduce the heat generated by CPU in a simple way and at the same time because it enables the CPU fan to run in a quieter way.
